Have I ever mentioned that I am the back stage director for the School Performance at my daughters Elementary School? Well, if I haven't I am now.
The Performance isn't until mid May, but as you can imagine I am swamped with a lot of preparation for the big week (we have 4 shows).
Costumes, props, figuring out stage directions and lighting............it's enough to make my heart palpitate. And if this isn't enough, I also need to complete the yearbook for the 5th graders (continue to take pictures for the yearbook), plan Girl scout meetings and a camping trip and deal with everyday life.
So if I am not around a lot in the blogosphere you will know why. I hate missing out on anything so I will make sure to visit all my favorites.
In the meantime, I took a few minutes today to do something crafty. I needed a Congratulations card, so after seeing this adorable card on Crafty Makes I felt inspired and created this card.
Materials for the card:
Paper & Fibers: Sugared by Basic Grey
Star: Nestibilities
Ink: Rangers Vintage photo

Wow! That sounds like a lot of work, but lots of fun too!
Love the card:0)
backstage and elementary...sounds like a lot of kids and work. oh, like my life! jk.
Hi! I was thinking that The Performance was coming up soon. (note- always capital letters when refering to The Performance!) :-)
Be still, your heart. You are a pro!
AND...
the card is terrific. You do one fine job of living up to the title of One Crafty Mama!
Later, amiga
Wow, you are busy!
I love the card.. this type of handmade artistry is SO much more meaningful. And yet.. I have a major dearth of talent in this area.
Thanks for the ideas! Good luck with the production!
Ok, you're making me twitch when I read everything you have to do in the next few months... guess it's a sympathy twitch or something like that. Oh, and I LOVE your card, that is soooo cool!! I'll have to jump over to Kim's blog and check it all out.
my gosh, you are superwoman. love the card!
I agree with Rachael, Superwoman! Just be sure to get some "me" time in! Good luck!
That looks FAB! You are a woman of many talents! (and a giver of much time! you rock!!!!)
That's a great card! Sounds like you will be a very busy woman for a while. Hope you still find a moment to just breathe. :)
I think this is fantastic! I love the colors you used. And you are so busy with so many cool activities! It is a wonder you find time at all to blog! : )
coooooooooool - you make cards too!
The card looks great! There's something special about getting a handmade card rather than a cookie cutter one from a store.
