Wordful Wednesday - Guerilla Art

My favorite big city is Chicago.  It's big buildings, stores, museums, restaurants, and great public art displays make the city an exciting place to visit.

But what I find really fun is finding displays of guerilla art.

"Killing People is Rude."
Yes, it is!

I've never seen that and have no clue about guerrilla art. Interesting! I'll have to keep my eyes open next time I'm there!

That's so interesting to hear you say that about Chicago. My hubs was just there and didn't have very nice things to say about it. I still want to visit though - it can't be THAT bad, I mean come on - Oprah broadcasts from there! LOL :-)

What a great "find"

I have seen a piece or two in Seattle, but I hear it is more prolific in NYC and Chicago.

Love it! Great eye to spot that and quick thinking to put it on "film" so to speak (what are we supposed to say now that it's digital?!)

I love Chicago too. It's been just over a year since we went, but even though it was -10 degrees while we were there it was still such fun. This summer we're trying out NYC.

I would say so, too. :)

Hmmmm....at least it's sending a message. I have family out in Chicago and the last time I was there was in my 20's when I drove there with a best friend from NY. Good times.

Chicago is the best city ever! I'm glad we live so close to it. And yes, I completely agree. Killing people is very rude!

The black and white so suits this image! I love the grittiness to it. And what a good sentiment.

Awesome picture! I love the unexpected things that pop up begging to have their picture taken.

Chicago is on my list of places to visit. I've never been, and it looks so interesting. I don't know if in my head anything will to NYC. That place was like magic to me when I went seven years ago.
