PSF - Mario!

I wasn't much of a video game player.........that is until we got Super Mario for the Wii!  When the girls and I play we laugh so hard (and bicker just a bit)!  My husband sometimes threatens to turn the game off when there is too much whining!

When we play you will hear the following comments:

"Don't die, don't die"
"Go in a bubble"
"Pop me"
"Oooooohhhh noooooo"
"Hey, thanks for killing me"
"You thief, that was mine"
"You die and I'll go in a bubble"

In honor of our mother daughter bonding over Mario I made the girls mushroom charms. Even though I am getting pretty good at the game I'm not sure what these mushrooms official names are.  I just know they make you big.

We're big Mario fans. Love the charms!

Have you tried Windows Live Writer to compose and edit your blog posts? I love it! Makes things so much easier than Blogger.

I read Isaac and Gracie the things you hear when you play and asked them what game it was referring to...they both knew immediately!!

LOVE the charms. Now Gracie NEEEEEEEEEEDS one!

Those charms are awesome!

I LOVE the new Mario Bros game! We all love to play it, including my 2 1/2 year old. Although when he plays with you he is "bubble boy". He just floats around and asks you to pop him every now and again just to push A and turn right back into a bubble. That and he only wants to do the "scary castles" to get the bad guys. haha Good times indeed.

Those are adorable.

Now, go check out Windows Live Writer for your posts. As long as you are on a PC...if not, I think that something like Blogo does the same. It will rock your socks off. The quality of the uploads is better and you have a ton of options!

We call them hallucinogens.

"Hey, thanks for killing me" -- that's just the kind of comment that flies around here.

I played Mario so often on the old Nintendo that I would see it and hear it, in my sleep. I finally had to quit Mario altogether.

We love our Mario game, too! The kids would shout out Mario Wii! each time we get the game out. :)

They are so cute. And so official looking. LOVE them! We lost our game. And by we, I mean my son, because I would NEVER lose a $50 game : ). I think he gave it to one of the neighbor kids to play... I miss it! That game is SO fun : )

Cute mushrooms, Michelle! Clever you to find a new way to have fun with your girls. ;-)

I don't like the new editor either and I don't know how to go back to the old one.

Super cute!!

And that is why I love the Wii ... where else would mothers and daughters bond over VIDEO GAMES!? : )

Rhonda said...

that's awesome! Even if you're telling someone to die-if you're doing it together it's still considered family bonding! LOL

As for the nanny thing..I think they don't offer a real paycheck because she only has to work for them for two hours in the morning m-f. But see, that's why I'm thinking why not just stay HOME? and not have a third thing to worry about? Just school and a job and you're good. But in this case she'll nanny for two hours, school full time, and part time job. I don't like it!

I didn't like the new blogger editor either! To me it wasn't an update. I do like windows live writer, except I can't get it to do it with photos! It will upload them, but I get an error when I go to post! Haven't figured that out just yet!
