Wordful Wednesday

One of the other highlights to our vacation at the Ranch was having the opportunity to meet several great families!
The families we had the pleasure to meet were from all over the country and one family even came all the way from Germany. The picture below was taken by Norbert, otherwise known as the "German Hippie" due to his long pony tail!

Norbert took some incredible pictures during our stay and we were fortunate enough to have him share them with us.

The above picture was taken as the geldings were released in the evening to the upper ridge where they feed each evening.

It was such an incredible sight to witness and at 4:30 most of the guest were posed ready to take it all in. Thanks to Norbert, we have this incredible shot of the horse Reid was assigned to for the week.

One of these days we hope to travel to Germany to visit Norbert and his family! In the mean time we are heading up North the day after Thanksgiving to visit another family we met!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I hope you all have a great day with your families and friends.

That is one of the best photos I have ever seen! I can't imagine actually being there to watch the geldings run. It must have been quite an experience.
