More on my RAW adventures later. Onto the task at hand.....the Sunday Scavenger Hunt.
1. Rainbow
When it comes to music I consider myself a child of the 80's, but when it comes to collectibles I am definitely a child of the 70's. This is one of my Snoopy banks from when I was probably 8 or 9. I was a huge Snoopy fan (still am).
2. Letters
I am always on the hunt for signs with interesting fonts so I loved this prompt. This sign on the La Jolla Cove suites has always been a favorite of mine. It has such a retro feel.
3. Metal
One of the things about living near the ocean is that metal doesn't really stand a chance against the sea air. This is an example of the wear and tear on a bicycle rack a couple of feet from the ocean.
4. Trees
Another result of living near the ocean. Trees that grow at angles. The trees in our front yard that aren't protected by the wind are all leaning to the east.
5. Fluffy
The only fluffy thing I could come up with was either my standard poodle Xena, or one of my sisters poodles. This is my sisters Terriepoo Perry. He is my favorite of her three rescued poodles.I don't know about your neck of the woods, but right now it is absolutely gorgeous here in sunny Southern California.....so I need to get off the computer and enjoy the rest of the day.
Happy shooting and if you stop by from SSH please say hi. I always return the visit. :)

Love your interpretations! Awesome Snoopy bank! :)
Those tree trunks are like art sculptures. Nice set.
I like the rainbow shot!
Cool looking trees - great shot.
Love the tree shot . . . so interesting. Thanks for stopping by.
Hi Michelle! I totally missed visiting your blog!! I know I'm always going to see some wonderful shots!!!!!!!!
Incredible tree shot! And I love your fluffy too! Have a great week!
Those trees blow my mind, wow!
I love the texture in your Metal shot. When I first saw the prompt, I didn't expect to be liking so many of the Metal shots that I have seen. :)
Have a wonderful week, Michelle.
Those trees...........amazing shot!!
Totally lovin' that last shot , with the reflection in the hubcap! So creative!
I love your part of the world...I have been in San Diego twice and enjoyed every minute. Your images are great...the one of the poodle against the "white wall" tires is perfect!! Have a great week ahead!!
Oh this makes me miss home so bad!!! Great captures!
What a great bunch of photos this week! Happy hunting :)
What FABulous finds! The Snoopy shot just stole me heart though, love that! Funny, I also tried out RAW this weekend, & LOVED the result too. I need to get a larger mem card, fills up way to fast! What a great blog you have, & lovely photos!
I must follow you know. Lol!
I don't know what RAW is or what the difference would be between that and regular, but wow! Love these, especially the trees!
Awesome trees photo, but they are all good. Just noticed your sun catcher tute, gonna have to try this!
I'm a letter freak, too - love that vintage look!
Wonderful .. as usual. But I have to say that La Jolla Cover Suites caught my eye as my husband watches this show called Hotel Impossible (about rehabbing bad hotels) and I believe this one is being featured in the episode he is watching now!! You should see if you can find it .. it might interest you!!!
The trees look really cool!
I love Snoopy too.... actually I love all things "Peanuts". Every holiday we still watch the corresponding Peanuts movie. ;-)
Hubby likes to shoot in RAW, too. Unfortunately, for some reason when we download the pics to my laptop, it won't read RAW files (???)... so anytime I use the "big" camera, I have to make sure it's in JPEG.
Great pics, as usual!
