WW - My month in pictures

I have made it through another month of the picture a day project.  Completing April brings the grand total to 485 days that I have been participating in this project.

I have a certain love hate relationship with this project.  I hate when I'm busy, tired and uninspired and  need to get a shot for the day.  I want to stop on days like that.

What I love is that the project makes me think outside of the box (when I'm not tired, busy or uninspired).  It also gives me pictures of my life that I would not normally have.  So I press on.......

I wanted to share my favorite shot of the month.  This is of my 14 year old daughter sprinting the 400m.

This is Reid's first year running Track.  She was fast enough to participate in meets, but never fast enough to come in first.  In fact, most of the time she came in 3rd place and many times ended up second to last in her heat.

Despite not being the "best" she always tried her hardest and strove to improve her own personal time (and she had fun doing it).

I love that about her and it is why this shot is my favorite for the month.

Happy Wordful Wednesday!

Wow. When you are THIS talented, you should be taking pictures every day! (Not that you were asking, but that's my selfish take on the matter! LOL!) Thanks for sharing!
PS- Have I already told you how much I love your blog header?

Wow. I don't think I've ever done anything that many days in a row (except me a mom). That's super impressive.

And, WTG to your daughter for getting in the meets...that says a lot right there.

Wow that is a long time! And yes, it is now 8:40 PM here and I am yet to take a picture today... looking around and so not getting inspired. Your pictures are always beautiful.

Your words are so sweet and "spoken" with the absolute love of a mama :)

In answer to your question about my 365 blog, I feel EXACTLY the same way you do! Most days, I love the challenge. But, there are those days that I just don't feel very inspired and it's annoying. LOL
but, I press on...because sometimes I get a really great shot that totally makes my day :)

I love your pictures. You always have such great light so I find it hard to believe that there are days that you are uninspired. You always get the shot before it's 11:00 and dark out!

My kids just started track this year. I love it. It's great to compete with yourself.

And yeah!!!!! for your daughter. We have high track hopes for my son one day. He was born a natural runner.

I love that you do this! And wow, some dedication too! My husband is encouraging me to document a year starting on the 25th of this month, I'm worried I will have really boring days. I'm hoping to be able to do it though.

I know EXACTLY what you mean! I love that this project makes me think about taking pictures... but it drives me crazy on those "ugh. I need to take a picture of something today" kinds of days.

I am digging the picture of your lens cap. I may just have to take one like it one of these days.
