Wordful Wednesday

I grew up going to Sea World.  Like many of my friends, after our first visit we all wanted to work at Sea World when we grew up.  But we didn't want just any ordinary job.  Oh no, we wanted to train Shamu!

We hoped that someday we would grow up and dive into that big blue tank and swim with Shamu. Well, for most of us being an animal trainer was not in the cards.

Now it is our children's chance to dream of one day holding the illusive career title of Killer whale trainer!  :)

I love the picture. And that would be an awesome job. :) I've only seen Shamu once but it is quite impressive.

Oh how cute and funny... I have loads of pictures just like that of my kids pressed up to the same glass, staring at all the orcas.

My oldest two first aquarium experience was when we lived in Monterey, and both professed to want to grow up to be the divers that cleaned the tanks and swam with the sea animals. Aquariums hold a huge allure, don't they...
:-)
Blessings!

I wanted to be the fish feeder that gets to swim in the tank all day long. I think I still want to do that. How fun would that be?

I just love this photo! And I love the clarity of the stuff in the water and the underwater reflections. This is such a great photo. We have a very similar one of my son with Shamu swimming by in the tank so it reminded me so much of my son ... he could be the little silhouette!

And I still haven't given up my dream of training dolphins! Some day!
