While cleaning out her garage my mom came across a box that was filled with some of my old college text books and my collection of yearbooks. I was pretty excited by the news because I thought that my yearbooks were lost years ago. What a hoot looking at all the old pictures and reading what friends wrote! I actually have to make sure the girls don't read what those old friends wrote!!!!
I thought it would be fun to share a few pictures from my younger years. The top left is from my Senior year on the basketball team. Check out that intimidating snarl! The picture next to that is 7th grade Halloween. I am the black (and white) cat. Gotta love those high waisted shorts. They make me uncomfortable just looking at them! The bottom two pictures are from yearbook staff. That is my totally cool "mod" friend Kim who was my co-editor when we were seniors. The one above that was the yearbook sports section from 11th grade. I'm the one in the middle showing all the leg. I would never go back to High School, but I would love to have my 17 year old legs back. It was fun reliving memories that I had pretty much forgotten. Now, where in my garage am I going to put them?

My kids love looking at, er, making fun of, my high school yearbooks. I have had a hard time convincing them "that was the style!"
The pretty much part would be the, your not quite that skinny anymore. My nickname back then was B.T.S.O (big tall skinny one).
K - I always loved looking through my moms yearbooks! There were more than a few mentions of what a "cool" chick and "party girl" she was. That always made me laugh!
