If you grew up in the 1970's then there is a good chance that your mom spent an afternoon or two painting one of these ceramic Christmas trees at the local rec center.
Our ceramic tree (that plays silent night) was painted by my mother in law back in 1977. It is a treasured relic from my husbands childhood.
I'll be the first to admit that when I first saw this tree many moons ago I sort of questioned why my husband would want to put it out.
Then I looked around at my collection of homemade Christmas decorations from my Grandma and I instantly understood.
A Christmas does not go by without our ceramic tree and I wouldn't have it any other way.
