Scavenger Hunt Sunday

Another week of my favorite meme, Scavenger Hunt Sunday hosted by Ashley at Ramblings and Photos.
 1. Under my feet
I was going to include the tips of my toes in this shot, but considering the chipped nail polish I am currently sporting I thought it best to just stick to the pretty flower petals.

2. Capturing Movement
Nothing says I am almost done with High School like a big hoorah leap into the air!

3. Texture
I saw this mannequin in the window of a wig shop and just had to take a picture.

4. Face your fears
You wouldn't think by looking at this beautiful young lady that she would have anything to do with facing my fears but she does.  I have been wielding an SLR camera since High School.  Photography has been one of my favorite hobbies and something I have always wanted to do professionally.

I shoot pictures of my girls and their friends all the time so I know I would enjoy the senior portrait business. I just need to get over the fear of starting my own business and the fear that I am not good enough to actually get paid to do it.

This lovely senior is the daughter of a friend of mine.  She called and asked if I would take her daughters senior pictures (the photographer they tried to hire was being a flake).  I bit the bullet and went for it (for free).  It was so much fun and just from this one session I really learned a lot.  So I am going to go for it....eeek, did I really just say that?

5. Currently
Memorial day weekend.........the kick off to summer BBQ time.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you enjoyed yourself.  Please say hi and I will happily return the visit.
Happy Shooting!

High school / Senior portraits is an area I too enjoy and have done several sessions (probono), each time learning something new - which is a good thing. Good luck in your endeavors. Great group of shots for this week's scavenger hunt.
