Scavenger Hunt Sunday

I was a little rushed this week and most of my shots for SHS I ended up taking yesterday! I hope you enjoy them.

 1. Sunset
This is probably one of my favorite shots of my daughter and her boyfriend because I caught them in a moment of laughing and being silly with each other.  I can just feel how happy they are in the moment.
2. Black and White
I went down to the farmers market yesterday (in the rain) and I saw this HUGE wolfhound sticking out of one of the booths and it just made me smile.  He looks so bored.

3. A day in my life
Since it was raining my husband had to skip his usual trip down to the ranch to ride his horse.   He was instead in the kitchen helping me make the gang salads and grill cheese sandwiches.

4. Colorful
Thursday night at almost 8:00 Kate reminded me that she needed as many cupcakes as I could bake for her Yearbook class to sell at the Food Faire.....which was being held at noon on Friday!!
I managed to bang them 48 of them first thing in the morning.

5. Set of Four
My rainy trip on Saturday to the Farmers Market.  So many beautiful images to capture.

What a beautiful group of images. Your daughter & her boyfriend look great against that sunset. Love your images of the Farmer's Market. I enjoy those trips, but I have to wait until Spring for ours to re-open.

Michelle, I loved each and every shot you've taken for this weeks set. The sunset shot is precious - so candid, tender, and beautifully captured. You can feel the happiness and joy between the two. Its so lovely. And your black & white shot made me laugh out loud. Poor little hound dog, he did look terribly bored. Hah! Too, I really loved your colorful shot. Great WB there and so very colorful! And then, the shot of your husband in the kitchen (a day in your life) shot, really made me smile. Great set. Well done. Beautiful images full of sweet and tender feeling. Love it!

All great shots - your first sunset one is beautiful for both the sunset and the interaction you've captured between your daughter and her friend - you can almost hear them having a giggle it's so natural. Also love your colourful, cupcake shot - really like the persepctive.

Love your photos! Gorgeous sunset. And the farmers market is one of my favorite places to take pictures! I wish ours was open in the winter, but I guess that's not practical in Colorado. :)

I love a man in the kitchen - mine is in their frequently too!
The sunset picture w/ the silhouette is so cool - they'll cherish that one!
I can't wait til our snow is gone & the Farmer's Market is once again open w/ all their fresh produce!

I love how a simple photo can tell so much about what's going on in your day and life. How cool. I might just have to challenge myself to take a pic a day!
