Scavenger Hunt Sunday

Happily participating in another Scavenger Hunt Sunday with Ashley. I managed to spread out the hunt pictures this week so that they would also cover some of my picture a day project. Enjoy.

 1. Stacked Up
I look at all of these stacked pots and think.....accident waiting to happen.

2. Winter Wonderland.....well not really!
People, I live in San Diego.  Winter Wonderland really isn't part of our winter reality unless we go about an hour away to the mountains or go skiing.  And this year, winter seems to have passed us by without so much as a hello.  So here is a beach snowman for you instead.

3. Sweet

I just bought several pounds of blueberries for next to nothing.  Now to bake them into all sorts of sweet treats.

4. Hole
There were tons of holes to be found in the rocks along the beach.  Kind of funny to find Ho carved out near one of them.

5. Frozen
I completely forgot to take a Frozen shot, so I'm sharing one I took this summer of a frozen treat delivery system.  Nothing like getting something from the ice cream truck on a hot summer day at the beach.  The words art that appear to be sticking out of the truck are actually a tube sculpture behind the truck.

Since I included day 13 and 14 in the hunt I had to find somewhere to stick day 12 and since it didn't fit in the actually hunt photo's I am putting it here......hanging at the end.  My neighbor is a macro biotic chef and she brought us over this huge, beautiful box of veggies!  Isn't it gorgeous?

I love your snowman! Every yearr when we go to the beach we make sand snowmen as well. The girl's get such a kick out of it and then our Ruby plows it down. Ok, blueberries are like $5/pint right now I am so jealous and to add to the green a macro biotic chef next door? You are having a blessed winter ♥

We don't have a winter "wonderland" here either. I love the idea of a beach snowman! ...and look at those beautiful veggies! Lucky you to have a macro biotic chef for a neighbor. :)

{Thanks for the heads-up about my comment box. I sometimes forget to check the box to make sure it gets displayed.}

Okay ... The sandman snowman nearly made me spit out my tea! So funny and SO creative!! I also live in San Diego, so chose to do a beach shot as well, but yours is the BEST. This is the BEST snowman I have every seen! Ha hah! :) And your 'stacked' shot is great- and also happened to be the shot that first tipped me off that you were either in Ca. or Az. ;) Nice job! :)

I'll take your SandMan over our Snowmen right about now!
My students (hole) specifically wore those jeans that day because I asked them to help me out with my assignment! They were more than happy to oblige.
Gotta love 'em!

Wow, those are really pretty veggies!! I'm so jealous that you have fresh produce year-round. That beach snowman is adorable and so creative! I completely agree with your comment on all those clay pots. That's a "look, but don't touch" store!

Thanks for the beach snowman. I would love to go to the beach sometime!

We actually don't have any snow right now either. Yesterday it rained buckets, which is so weird for Utah in January!
