Project 365

January 18
My Grandpa was an avid gardener.  When he passed away I inherited a couple of his orchids.  The blooms that spring up each year are such a wonderful way to keep his memory alive.

January 19
This is Xena, my standard poodle princess warrior (my husband named her).  She is smart.  She knows when I put on my exercise clothes that it means I am going to exercise.  So she follows me around the house and stares at me until we leave.  She is just part of my furry fan club.

January 20
Here are a few of the 48 cupcakes I made for my daughters yearbook class to sell at lunch this afternoon.

January 21
Another one of the joys of living in a mild climate is that we have farmers markets all year round.

January 22
Here we have my oldest daughter on her iTouch chatting with her boyfriend......the boyfriend that she had just spent an entire day with.  I'm sure those of you with teens will find this image very familiar?

January 23
We had rain nearly all day today.  I love it when it rains, but I love perfect weather even more.

January 24
My next door neighbor stopped by with some yummy organic cupcakes for us to try...Yummy.

January 25
Two mornings a week I go walking with friends.  This morning just happened to be a picture perfect day. The "snow" tree's looked so pretty against the blue blue sky.  I didn't edit this picture...this is truly how blue the sky looked this morning.

Cheers and happy shooting!

LOL! You give cupcakes away to the school to raise money and someone gives them to you. Good karma over there!

I love that tree, and the pic of the texting made me laugh. :)

That budding white tree against that blue sky looks like spring, but our spring is still months away. Thanks for sharing your "spring" pics with us.

That cupcake condo (as I like to call it) was purchased at Costco. Not sure if they carrying them anymore.

The cupcakes look yummy. I'm a tad jealous of the "snow" tree and the blue sky. And a year-round farmer's market sounds heavenly!

Great pictures! What are those cupcakes in? Is it some kind of cupcake holder because I totally need one.
