The other day while I was surfing around the web I discovered Ttv photography.
Ttv photography stands for through the viewfinder.
You use your SLR to shot a picture through the lens of a Kodak Duraflex (or similar type camera).
The shots taken this way are super artsy fartsy and right up my alley.
Who doesn't like being artsy fartsy?

Just my luck......I have my Grandparents old Kodak Duraflex camera!
I got it out, but didn't dust it off (you want a little smootz on the lens), and started shooting.
I have a lot to learn and need to practice, but here is my first attempt.
And a slight sepia effect!
So what do you think?
Does shooting through the lens of another camera sound like fun?

we used to have that camera growing up...long gone now. that is a really cool shot though, how fun!
It really gives the photos an old-time feel. How cool is that? And you are so fortunate to still have that old camera. Happy WW!
very cool!! I want new toys for my camera! Desperately!!
i think they look great michelle! it pays to keep that old stuff around doesn't it?
That is fabulous and the picture is just clear as day. You can never reproduce the fabulous images you get from a vintage camera. Awesome.
That is so awesome! I am going to have to try that! See you learn something new everyday!
Those look AWESOME!
Those are so neat. I am hopeless at photography.
My favorite is the last one...so pretty!
I love the outcome! Really cool. I love how you're able to get "sepia with color." :)
That looks and sounds fun! I really need to develop my photographic skills.
That is soooo cool!!
That is so cool. My photos never turn out the way I want them too.
Hence my children's annoyed expressions.
"How many times do you have to take that picture?"
Such a creative idea! The photo turned out wonderfully!
Wow, that is really cool. I can't wait to see more of your work with this camera.
That is so fun! That looks like it would be really interesting to play with!
I like what you did ... it has an interesting feel to it. I love seeing you develop as a photographer and seeing all the new things you are trying.
great pictures and vintage camera. i have a similar kodak that belonged to my grandparents. i downloaded instructions from the net, but have a hard time getting it to work, and finding the film. thanks for sharing and take care.
WOW~ you are a totally cool artsy fartsy photographer! Love it :)
Looks cool. I wish I could get more into photog and even sit long enough to read the manual of the camera I got over a year ago but I guess it's just not my thing. I just aim for my food not looking like throw up :)
I love it! It's going to be fun to play with that!
I just love anything Artsy Fartsy.
I liked all three of the pictures... great angle too!
