WW - Liar, Liar!

I take a lot of pictures (aka: 365 project).

Sometimes I take pictures of things I'm not allowed to photograph (that is fun).

This cool antique register is one such item I knew I probably shouldn't be snapping (but I couldn't resist....'cause I needed something silver for the photo hunt).

When the store clerk saw my camera in hand he asked if I was taking pictures (who me?).

I lied and claimed to only be holding the camera to keep it from hitting anything (tight & crowded store after all).

I felt bad for telling an obvious lie in front of the girls (bad example).

But I told the girls that I wasn't sure if the man would try take my camera if I told the truth (whoops, another lie).

I think the girls are too old to believe my last lie (work on clever lies)!

I would never lie about how fun Wordful Wednesdays are a 7 clown circus.
Do come and play!

And WHY weren't you supposed to take a picture?

Great pic! I never understand why shop owners get all uptight about photos being taken. What's the big deal... it's not like you're stealing or something!

My dad has a register like that one, but more ornate. I'm not and never have been allowed to touch it. :)

I take pictures everywhere we go. If there is no sign saying "NO photography" then I just assume that it's okay! If I can take a pic of an original Monet at the Art Museum I can take a pic of my kid trying on sunglasses in Target! At least that's the way I look at it!

Amazing register. Love the detail. I always try to take pictures of everything in a museum, zoo or store, even if I'm not allowed to. I would have done the same thing. I would have probably said the same lies to my son. Happy WW and take care.

Don't think of it as lying.

I'm not sure what you SHOULD think of it as, but if you don't think of as lying, you'll feel better.
