Here are the Prompts I'm going to tackle:
1.) The last time I laughed really hard...
1.) The last time I laughed really hard...
3.) I remember when...
Let us start off with number 1!
The other day I was looking up the lyrics to the Diarrhea song (don't ask). After doing a google search I found The Official Diarrhea Song blog. As I started reading the lyrics, I started laughing so hard that I had tears rolling down my cheeks. I was laughing so hard that I couldn't even compose myself long enough to tell my husband what I thought was so funny. So here are a few that had me rolling.
When your stomach starts a rollin'
and you're cleaning out your colon:
Diarrhea, diarrhea.
When you're on the seat for hours
and it doesn't smell like flowers:
Diarrhea, diarrhea.
When the feeling's not that nice
and you have to flush it twice:
Diarrhea, diarrhea. When your stomach really hurts,
and you know that it’s the squirts:
Diarrhea, diarrhea.
What can I say people, I am that immature!

Now on to prompt #3.....I remember when!
I remember when my stomach was flat, my hair was naturally brown and the only hair on my face I plucked was above my eyes.
I remember when Keyboarding class was called Typing class and it sounded something like this: Clank, Clank, Clank, Clank, Clank, Clank, ZiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiPT, Clank, Clank, Clank!
I remember when games like Pac Man, Donkey Kong and Frogger required a quarter and could only be found in an Arcade.
I remember when people tried to ban books by my favorite childhood author Judy Blume.
I remember when cell phones weighed 5 pounds!
I remember when getting a tan was considered healthy and baby oil was used to help speed along this process. Thank you stupid teenage me, I am now paying for your lack of knowledge.
I remember when I swore I would never have kids. Ha, little did I know what a blessing they would be.
I remember when cartoons could only be watched on Saturday morning!
This is where I say.......Ahhh, those were the days!

People think it's gross, but it tastes good on toast ...
I was driving in my Chevy and I felt something heavy ...
I was talking to my pop and I felt something drop ...
I was climbing up a ladder and I felt something splatter ...
By the way, I loved Judy Blume back in the day, especially Frecklejuice.
I KNOW! My son thinks it is so crazy that cartoons were only on Saturdays.

Hi! Visiting from Mama Kat's!
We must be the same age... I totally remember all of your " remember whens..." The baby oil as tanner reminds me of that awful Sun In spray crap that would turn your hair orange? Yikes!

Woohoo! Talk about a blast from the past post!!
Hubby was playing the PS2 with Galaga on it and we were just talking how we missed playing those games!
I remember all of those things too. I was just telling my kids about Saturday cartoons the other day. And how about American Bandstand?
I cannot comment on the Diarrhea song cause we actually had it here this week!
We remember SOOOOO many of the same things. Oh my. The only thing I didn't do was the baby oil. I'm kind of like Bella (I know you know who I mean) in the skin dept. and I only burned, not tanned, so I stayed away from that:)
oh i remember my mom not letting me read Judy Blume, i read it anyway, mostly becuase i wanted to know what was soooo bad about it!
and i am dying laughing over the song!! hilarious!
Hello--I'm doggedly working my way through the Writing Workshop posts from MamaKats and just got to yours.
Your blog is so beautiful and happy and colorful! I just love it.
Loved your posts. Got some other verses of the Diarrhea Song for you that I've always heard:
When you're sliding into home
And your pants are full of foam
Diarrhea Diarrhea
The other totally immature thing along those lines I love is:
Milk Milk (point to your breasts)
Lemonade (point to where you go pee)
Around the corner fudge is made (well, you get it).
That is SO IMMATURE but it makes me laugh every time. Thought you might enjoy it too. Hope I'm not wrong on that!
Loved your "I remember when..." too. Were we separated at birth or something!
I love the additional verses people have left for the diahrea song...looks like we are ALL that mature. :)
